Biogradska gora – the kingdom of untouched nature

“Biogradska gora” national park, which covers the central part of the Bjelasica mountain and stretches between the rivers Tara and Lim with an area of ​​5,400 hectares.

Together with the surroundings, this is an extremely important “climatic, hydrogeological and ecological hub of Montenegro and the Balkans”.

There is also one of the three preserved rainforests in Europe with trees up to four centuries old, over 45 meters high, with the extent of glacial lakes, among which is Biogradsko, in the opinion of the world-renowned scientist Jovan Cvijić, “the most beautiful lake of the Balkan Peninsula”, making more more attractive environment with a wealth of plant and animal life.
